A tour of the center and a guided auto plant tour allows you to learn about Honda’s heritage and see Honda manufacturing firsthand.
Reservations are required.
Tours are free of charge.
Tours are available on select Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. and 12:15 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. (see reservation system for available openings).
No auto plant tours will be available in January 2020.
February – March 2020 tours are available to register now.
April 2020 and beyond tours will be available to register at a later date.
Available for individuals, families, and groups; however, to ensure safety, children must be in 7th grade and up to participate in this option.
Approximate duration: 2.5 hours (includes both Heritage Center museum and Auto Plant tour)
All tours start at the Honda Heritage Center (museum) and will include either a tour of the Marysville Auto Plant or the East Liberty Auto Plant.
Guests will visit the museum first and will, then, advance to the auto plant in their personal vehicle.
The Auto Plant tour is physically demanding and includes a fast-paced, one-hour walking tour (approx. 1.5 miles) and may include stairs. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and they must cover the foot and heel. Sandals, open-toe or open-back shoes are prohibited.
Skirt/shorts must be knee length or longer for plant tour.
Honda does not allow any tour participant to leave any type of marketing, solicitation, or sales materials at any of our facilities.
Adults will need a government issued photo identification (driver’s license, passport, etc.) for check-in upon arrival.
The Honda Heritage Center reserves the right to suspend auto plant tours based on the plant’s production activity.
