(Currently Closed) Heritage Center Self-Guided Tour

A self-guided tour of the center (museum) is available for individuals, families and groups.  We welcome your visit during our open hours listed below.  This visit does not include an auto plant tour.


  • Sunday – Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Select Saturdays only: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (upcoming available Saturdays are (3/14, 4/18, 5/16, 6/13, 7/18, 8/8)


  • Visit is free of charge.
  • This visit is a self-guided tour of the museum and does not include an auto plant tour.
  • Walk-ins are welcome and reservations are also available and recommended for groups of five or more.
  • Guests under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Adults will need a government issued photo identification (driver’s license, passport, etc.) for check-in upon arrival.
  • School groups, clubs and other community groups are welcome and require one adult per ten children.
  • Standard capacity for each tour time is 60 guests. For groups larger than 60, please contact the Honda Heritage Center at 937-644-6888.
  • Ample free parking.
  • Allow 60 to 90 minutes for your visit.

(Currently Closed) Heritage Center And Auto Plant Tour

A tour of the center and a guided auto plant tour allows you to learn about Honda’s heritage and see Honda manufacturing firsthand.

  • Reservations are required.
  • Tours are free of charge.
  • Tours are available on select Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. and 12:15 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. (see reservation system for available openings).
    • No auto plant tours will be available in January 2020.
    • February – March 2020 tours are available to register now.
    • April 2020 and beyond tours will be available to register at a later date.
  • Available for individuals, families, and groups; however, to ensure safety, children must be in 7th grade and up to participate in this option.
  • Approximate duration: 2.5 hours (includes both Heritage Center museum and Auto Plant tour)
  • All tours start at the Honda Heritage Center (museum) and will include either a tour of the Marysville Auto Plant or the East Liberty Auto Plant.
  • Guests will visit the museum first and will, then, advance to the auto plant in their personal vehicle.
  • The Auto Plant tour is physically demanding and includes a fast-paced, one-hour walking tour (approx. 1.5 miles) and may include stairs.  Please wear comfortable walking shoes and they must cover the foot and heel.  Sandals, open-toe or open-back shoes are prohibited.
  • Skirt/shorts must be knee length or longer for plant tour.
  • Honda does not allow any tour participant to leave any type of marketing, solicitation, or sales materials at any of our facilities.
  • Adults will need a government issued photo identification (driver’s license, passport, etc.) for check-in upon arrival.
  • The Honda Heritage Center reserves the right to suspend auto plant tours based on the plant’s production activity.
